Water electrolyzers are electrochemical devices used to split water into its constituent elements, hydrogen and oxygen, by passage of an electrical current. There are four main types of electrolyzers: alkaline and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers are already mature, while anion exchange membrane (AEM) and solid oxide electrolyzers are still under development. These technologies differ in numerous ways, most notably in cell design and variations within components. GreenGo Energy to develop 4 GW green energy park in Denmark

Danish greentech company GreenGo Energy has announced plans to develop, in cooperation with the Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality, a green energy park based on 4 GW of hybrid solar and wind energy, which is to be fed directly to the energy park, at the core of which will be a 2 GW green hydrogen production plant.
