Weichai Power launches stationary power SOFC system based on Ceres technology
Chinese company Weichai Power has launched a stationary power solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system based on the technology of its strategic partner Ceres. At the launch ceremony held in Jinan, China, Weichai announced that its SOFC system has passed the EU CE certification of TÜD SÜD.

DNV to launch phase 2 of offshore hydrogen pipelines JIP
DNV is launching the second phase of H2Pipe, a joint industry project (JIP) aiming to develop a new code for the design, re-qualification, construction and operation of offshore pipelines to transport hydrogen – either pure or blended with natural gas. Phase 2 will be kicked off in late March 2023 and is open for more partners to join.

Chinese PV giant LONGi launches new generation of alkaline electrolyzers
LONGi Hydrogen, a wholly owned subsidiary of China’s solar giant LONGi Green Energy Technology, has launched its new generation of alkaline electrolyzers. The performance of the ALK Hi1 series products has been certified by third-party authorities such as Det Norske Veritas and DEKRA Testing and Certification (Shanghai).

FuelCell Energy, MHB to jointly develop large-scale electrolyzer facilities
FuelCell Energy and Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB), have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop large-scale solid-oxide electrolyzer facilities in Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

Emerson BM6X series slam-shut valve certified for hydrogen service
Bureau Veritas Italia has approved the Emerson BM6X series slam-shut valve for use in applications with up to 100% hydrogen and pressures up to 100 bar. The certification confirms the verification of material suitability, based on seal tests performed at the Emerson production plant in Bologna, Italy.

Lhyfe to build another green hydrogen production plant in Brittany
Lhyfe has obtained the construction permit for its second green hydrogen production site in the Morbihan region of Brittany, France, and is about to begin preparatory construction work. Lhyfe Bretagne will have the capacity to produce up to 2 tonnes of green and renewable hydrogen per day (5 MW).
